A vintage, quality estate pipe in the bent brandy shape with flat front by renowned Danish pipe makers Stanwell. Stamped “Roskilde” (first few letters faded but still legible) and “2” to the shank. In overall good vintage. Kindly view images above for more detail.
The Stanwell Roskilde is a sought-after, private-label series of briar pipes manufactured in Denmark by the esteemed Stanwell Pipes factory. The line was created exclusively for Wesleys Fine Tobacconists, a prominent tobacconist based in South Africa.
