Peterson .308 Winchester Small Rifle Primer Unprimed Brass (50) is unprimed, Match-Grade brass manufactured by Peterson Cartridge in Pennsylvania, USA. One of the most widely reloaded cartridges in the world, the .308 Winchester is prized for accuracy, versatility, and component availability. This Small Rifle Primer version uses a 0.060″ flash hole and is recommended for shooters loading near or above SAAMI max pressures. Every casing is produced on Peterson’s state-of-the-art, automated production lines and passes through 100% inspection to ensure structural consistency from case to caseminimising the variables that can affect accuracy and helping you get more reloads per casing than the industry average.

• Match-Grade Quality: Manufactured to Peterson’s Match-Grade standard, with consistent dimensions, weight, and neck tension from casing to casing.
• 100% Inspected: Every casing produced passes through automated and hand-inspection processes to confirm it meets Peterson’s quality standards before packaging.
• EZ-Seat Coating & Anti-Tarnish Finish: Peterson’s proprietary EZ-seat coating promotes consistent, uniform bullet and primer seating on first load, alongside an anti-tarnish finish for long shelf life.
• Annealed for Consistent Neck Tension: Each casing is annealed during manufacturing to relieve material stress and deliver reliable, repeatable neck tension across reloads.
• SRP Primer Pocket: This is the Small Rifle Primer (SRP) version, featuring a 0.060″ flash hole (versus 0.080″ on Large Rifle Primer casings). Peterson recommends SRP casings for shooters loading near or above SAAMI maximum pressures, as the smaller flash hole and primer pocket have proven to hold up reliably under higher-pressure loads when tested in Peterson’s universal receiver. An undersized/X-small decapping pin is required to deprime these casings.
