Vermiculite
Commonly used in compost formulations with coir or peat, the vermiculite itself also adds magnesium, potassium and trace amounts of other minerals to the soil. The air-to-water ratio present in vermiculite and peat/coir composts stimulates root growth and facilitates the production of healthy seedlings.
