Vintage estate smoking pipe collection with original wooden display rack.This was my great-grandfather’s personal collection, brought from Italy to South Africa in the 1950s.The collection includes two Ropp pipes, including a large cherrywood example, a long-stem pipe, and a possible late 19th- to early 20th-century European meerschaum hunter’s pipe with wind cap.
The pipes show signs of age and use and are being sold as found.Further identification and research are ongoing and additional information will be added later.
